This is the most common dildo size women use
Does your package seem too small compared to hers? Sadly, our result is mixed.
According to a recent survey, the preferred size for a dildo is 6 inches (15.24 centimetres), slightly above the average penis size of 5.2 inches (13.2 centimetres).
The bad news? Those who are under average may be out of luck because users never settled for less than 5 inches (12.7 centimetres). Also, this might give us a glimpse of what women are willing to settle on.
Curiously, a significant number of consumers chose dildos with a size of more than 10 inches (25.4 centimetres), as well as larger-sized models.
52.3% of women use sex toys during their lifetime, according to previous research. A quarter of the sample who used a sex toy before had done so at least once a week, with approximately one-fourth of the sample having done so at least once a month.
The number of male dildo owners was surprisingly low, 61.2%, 10% less than the female number. Although it is not certain if they were for their partners or for themselves.
And what features do users consider the most important in a dildo? According to the poll, 36.9% of respondents were concerned about girth, 32.5% were concerned about length, and 22.8% were tech-savvy, preferring remote-control functions.
Unsurprisingly, dildo-use was mostly in the bedroom, while almost 2% enjoyed playing in the public or anywhere their partner is positioned for sex.
Dildo size measurement
What does dildo size mean? In general, dildos are compared based on their length and girth. The penis usually measures between 5-6 inches in length and 1.5 inches in girth.
Nevertheless, the most common dildo sizes are over 6 inches. Dildos that are modelled accurately are often quite large, much larger than many real-life penises.
Since dildos can be a bit pricey, it’s important to select a size that suits you. Since you cannot always judge the dildos’ size by looking at pictures online, knowing as much as possible beforehand is beneficial. Dildos are typically sized by measuring their length and girth.
Length
The length of the dildo refers either to its overall length, which may include the flared base and the testicles or to how much of it can be inserted. Dildos with large bases and testicles may be listed as having a specific length, but only part of the dildo may be insertable.
Girth
Diameter (the length of the shaft) or circumference (the diameter around the shaft) are the terms for the girth of the dildo. Most dildos have a diameter of between 1 and 2 inches. Penis girths are generally 1.5 inches wide. The material makes a difference as to whether you feel the girth listed in the dildo.
Bigger does not always mean better
Most of the popular dildo sizes aren’t for everyone. It is important to note that dildos can be used for many purposes, and there is much more to consider than depth or width. Both the G-spot and the prostate are about 2.5 to 3 inches deep.
In spite of their popularity, long dildos may not always be the most pleasurable and desirable. Depending on the model, vibrating dildos can deliver 2.5 to 3 inches of powerful vibration.
What dildo size is right for you?
Dildo size can make a big difference no matter if you’re a beginner or an experienced user looking to fill yourself or a partner.
The ideal starting model for beginners is a slimmer, shorter one before moving on to a larger one. More experienced users can enhance the girth, length, or material of their dildos. Other options include selecting harder, stronger, or curved shapes for added stimulation.
You can compare your dildo size with what a real one would seem to be (if your partner is open to getting measured). To get an idea of what length and girth you need, you can also measure carrots, cucumbers, or zucchini (but please never them in place of a dildo).
Remember you can always order a “penis sleeve” if you feel the dildo isn’t big enough for you. This can add length or shape to your dildo.
Using larger dildos
Want your senses expanded by being stretched and filled? It might be worthwhile to increase the size of your dildo. By adding girth, you may experience more stimulation.
If it’s your first time using a bigger dildo, we suggest using a lot of lubricants and going slowly. You may need to add more lubricant if your body tells you so.
Once the pain and discomfort persist, you may need to consider going down in size and getting a smaller dildo. Don’t forget you can always add penis sleeves to a smaller dildo to increase its size if you start with a smaller dildo.
Some of the most searched dildos on Google
Dildos are almost as old as natural penises. The Hohle Fels Phallus, one of the earliest dildos, was carved from stone and used 28,000 years ago.
The development of dildos has only gotten better since those times. Today you can choose from thousands of styles and shapes. The sheer number can be overwhelming.
Below are a few of the most searched dildos of 2020 and 2021. This list will hopefully help you find the perfect dong for your needs!
Doc Johnson The Slim Silicone Dildo
Dr Johnson’s slim dildo works well for beginners as they figure out their tastes. You can use it both anally and vaginally, and the shaft is thin enough to fit inside the body (3.5 inches in circumference).
It’s possible that you’ll come to prefer more texture overall, but this dildo is a great way to test the waters (particularly during anal training to stretch out your anus).
nJoy Pure Wand Stainless Steel Dildo
Made from high-grade stainless steel, this metal dildo features two bulbous ends of different sizes and a curved shape. In total, the Purewand has an insertable length of 8 inches, with a circumference of 5.5 inches at its widest point.
This sex toy is made of stainless steel, which allows it to be warmed or cooled depending on your preference. In addition, it is easily cleanable, as the steel is non-porous, making it bacteria-proof.
The Purewand’s unusual shape is designed to reach you at your G spot (if you are female) or your P spot (e.g. if you are male), providing you with an explosive, body-shaking orgasm!
Lelo Ella Double-Sided Dildo
Dildos from Lelo are just as popular as Lelo’s top-rated vibrators. A classic Lelo product with its signature velvety-smooth finish, this one is a surefire standout.
There are two ends to this dildo (5-inches of insertable length): a flatter end with a curled neck to hit the G-spot, and a straighter end for thrusting. A great option for beginners, the Lelo Ella features a hair-raising texture, a clean, simple design, and petite sizing.
RealCock2
RealCock2 is a bit pricey, but it’s worth it if you are putting together a professional sex dungeon, porn studio, or bathhouse. In this remarkable creation, 3 layers of silicone and Sil-Slide technology are used to create a realistic-looking and realistic-feeling dildo with soft, sliding skin.
A lot of cocklike dildos have the throbbing veins you’d expect to see, but this dildo also has smaller veins and blemishes on the skin and balls which add to its realistic appearance. A realistic ball has even been created that floats and can be played with like real testicles.
This product is compatible with the popular Instalock strap-on system and a wide variety of sex machines too, so now men and women can enjoy being fucked by a realistic dildo which makes the sex machine experience more intense and real than ever.
Tantus Feeldoe Slim Dildo
This strapless dildo is as close to skin-to-skin as possible without having to worry about constantly adjusting straps and buckles. Anyone with a vulva just sits and holds on to the bulb, using their pelvic floor muscles while their partner rides the shaft.
It does take a bit of practice to master this double-ended dildo, so we’d recommend it for someone with more experience! The way this is designed incorporates partnered sex, but you can totally use it as a solo massager.
Purple Rain
It would seem obvious to anyone that the “Purple Rain” dildo would be a perfect choice. If you’re looking for a big cock, the insertable length is only 6 inches; however, it’s completely body-safe and phthalate-free, making it the best option, at least for a similar price point.
With a cool purple design and slight curve for hitting the G-spot, this toy is made of pure platinum cured silicone. Furthermore, it features a suction cup and is naturally compatible with a wide variety of fuck machines and strap-on mounts. You might want to consider Purple Rain the next time you’re wishing for some androgynous funk?

Rookie Vibrating Silicone Dildo
Beginners will find the Rookie to be a great choice. The Rookie has a slimmer and wider tip, so those who like the sensation of a penislike head coming in and out will like its shape.
