This Extra Lube version carries roughly 40% more lubricant than the standard SKYN Original, pre-applied at the factory for a smoother feel from the first moment of contact. The material is softer and more skin-like than rubber latex, free of the proteins that trigger latex reactions, and undergoes the same electronic, single-unit safety testing as any licensed condom. Natural in colour, smooth in texture, with a straight fit and a reservoir teat end.
The pre-applied lubricant is a non-spermicidal silicone oil (dimethicone); add water-based or silicone-based lubricant on top if you want more, but keep oil-based products — baby oil, massage oil, Vaseline — away from it, since oil degrades polyisoprene the same way it degrades latex. When used correctly every time, this condom significantly lowers the chance of pregnancy and of STI transmission, though no condom, including this one, can offer complete protection. Check the pack for damage and the expiry date before opening, tear along the foil edge rather than using teeth or nails, pinch the tip to remove trapped air, then unroll fully to the base once it’s in place.
