Since 2006, Glyde condoms have been vegan-certified by the Vegan Society. Unlike other condoms, the Glyde Ultra condom is completely vegan. As with all condoms, Glyde is made of natural rubber latex which is derived from rubber trees, but what makes them truly vegan is the additional ingredient used in the process.
Glyde uses a thistle extract that works exactly the same way as casein, which is the protein found in most latex condoms. The product may be slightly more expensive, but it remains 100% vegan.
