Sliquid Organics Silk Hybrid is the Organics range’s hybrid lubricant: an aloe-based glide carrying a 12% silicone blend. Pure water-based lubes are easy to clean up but tend to go tacky and need reapplying; pure silicone lubes last but leave a residue that takes real effort to wash off. This sits between the two. The texture is smooth and creamy, it holds its slip through longer sessions, and the same bottle doubles as a fragrance-free skin lotion.
The base is organic aloe vera (aloe barbadensis), thickened with agar agar and guar gum, carrying that 12% dimethicone (silicone) component for longevity. Isopropyl palmitate and polysorbate 20 bind the aloe and silicone phases together so the formula doesn’t separate. Vitamin E and organic hibiscus, flax, green tea and sunflower extracts are in there for skin conditioning, not scent — the lube itself is fragrance-free and unflavoured. It’s pH-balanced to 4.1–4.4, and it contains no glycerin or parabens, so it won’t feed the yeast and bacteria that glycerin-based lubes are known to encourage.
